We will close for Christmas on the 24th of December 2025 and re-open on the 2nd of January 2026.

All orders placed by 22nd December 2025, will be dispatched before Christmas. Orders placed after this will be processed in January.

Sustainability

We are living in an ever-changing, evolving and uncertain world.

UK businesses are faced with the impact of increased costs and uncertainty in a number of areas for the past few years. To ensure the sustainability of our future and to enable us to continue to support the independent Pharmacy sector, there will be a small surcharge contribution added to every invoice. From 1st January 2026 this will be £2.75 – equal to less than 0.6% of our average order value.

More details on some of the areas where rising costs are being experienced, are outlined in summary below.

Freight Price Increases:

Many factors contribute to why transportation costs have been increasing. Tight capacity and a huge surge in the percentage of parcels being delivered to residential addresses has put a strain on the UK parcel network and annual price rises and surcharges are set to be increasingly high.

Legislation and Administration:

UK businesses are faced with significant and unprecedented challenges in the current climate. Both Covid-19 and Brexit have resulted in medium-term economic reconfiguration as well as near-term disruption. The extent and costs associated with the "administrative burden" facing UK businesses after the Brexit transition period is ongoing and a significant consideration for companies importing products from Europe and further afield.  (source IFS.org.uk)

Fuel Prices:

Over the past few years, the price of diesel fuel has risen noticeably. Leading fuel and fleet authorities including the RAC continue to warn against the likelihood of further diesel price fluctuations and increases. (source statista.com)

Environment:

Environmental impact is an important consideration for any responsible business in today’s world. Steps to make workplaces environmentally friendly by introducing materials and operational methods that are less harmful to the environment than traditional methods and materials, can often be costly in the initial stages.
